Flood Recovery Resources
Flood Recovery Resources
The Nashville area has endured record-breaking flooding and the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce is committed to assisting businesses in recovery efforts by connecting them to necessary resources.
Nashville Mayor Karl Dean has tasked the Chamber with coordinating a Business Response Team to facilitate and solicit financial and volunteer assistance from the Nashville business community for flood recovery efforts. Four corporate leaders will head the effort: Henry Hicks of Gray Line of Tennessee, Orrin Ingram of Ingram Industries Inc., Christine Karbowiak of Bridgestone Americas, Inc. and Gregg Morton of AT&T.
The Business Response Team is working as a portal for businesses interested in making contributions, either through donations, volunteer manpower or in-kind services. The Business Response Team is also working to collect information about businesses that have been impacted by the flood. Businesses willing to help, or those needing assistance, should visit http://nashvillebusinessrecovery.org.
