Existing Business Team
The Nashville Area Existing Business Team was formed by the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce's Partnership 2010 initiative to support the retention and expansion of existing businesses by proactively addressing issues of concern through public/private partnerships. The team was created to promote job retention, new job growth and expansion of facilities.
The Existing Business Team visits with primary sector employers in the 10-county Nashville MSA to learn more about companies, their industries and their relationships to the community. These visits allow the Existing Business Team to help make policy, program and resource allocation decisions happen.
Existing Business Team members include Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, the Middle Tennessee Career Centers, Nashville Electric Service, the State of Tennessee, the Tennessee Valley Authority, and the University of Tennessee Center for Industrial Services Tennessee Manufacturing Extension Program.
