"As a Chamber member, we're impressed with the level of networking opportunities available to small businesses like ours, and we intend to take advantage of as many as possible. Business After Hours allows us to connect with other local businesses and market our services in a relaxed environment. We definitely expect to generate business as a direct result of this exposure."

Small Business Resources

Small and entrepreneurial businesses are integral not only to the Nashville region's economy, but also to the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce's membership.

Self-employment levels in the Nashville region are higher than the national average, at 21.6 percent. This high incidence of entrepreneurial businesses is a cornerstone of the Middle Tennessee economy. In addition, nearly 90 percent of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce's membership is comprised of companies with 100 or fewer employees.

The Chamber offers a number of programs and services for small businesses, including educational events and a regular e-newsletter geared toward the unique needs of small business owners and managers.
