The Tennessee Non-Smokers Protection Act, effective October 1, 2007, prohibits indoor smoking in most public places, including restaurants, hotels and many other establishments. One notable exception is venues that restrict entry to those 21 and older.
The Nashville Downtown Partnership's semi-annual publication, The Guidebook, lists the smoking/non-smoking status of bars and restaurants in the downtown area. Please note the non-smoking symbol next to venues that prohibit smoking.
