It's very easy to become engaged in Nashville. Nashville is an open community, and anyone can participate. They just have to volunteer.

Area Advisory Councils
The Area Advisory Councils are membership volunteer organizations located in four specific geographical areas: Chamber East, Chamber North, Chamber South and Chamber West. Each of these councils are comprised of Nashville Chamber members who are located in the designated area and provide an opportunity for getting involved in solving problems, discussing issues and implementing special projects and events for the benefit of the area in which they work.
Each council serves the unique needs of its members, with its own board, strategic plan, annual budget, programs and initiatives. Though the four councils are separate organizations, they also work together on collaborative initiatives and programs.
In the 17 years since their formation, the Nashville Chamber’s Area Advisory Councils have worked on a variety of things, including economic redevelopment, area beautification, Hillsboro Road Resource Team, college-to-career fairs and more.
