It may be a new year, but ONE NASHVILLE's resolution remains exactly the same: Increase community involvement in Metro Nashville Public Schools.
As we look to the months ahead, we have some exciting activities planned. First, we'll be participating in the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Day March next Monday, Jan. 16. We'd love to have all ONE NASHVILLE supporters join us as we meet in front of Jefferson Street Baptist Church (2708 Jefferson Street) at 10:30 a.m. Please help support ONE NASHVILLE while honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Also, ONE NASHVILLE is a proud supporter of Book 'Em's
Read Me Week, which will be held Feb. 27-March 2 this year. This annual event helps emphasize the fun and importance of reading by recruiting community volunteers to read to students in our local elementary and preschools. Online signup will be available soon at
schoolvolunteers.org.
With your support, we can make 2012 the best year yet for students in Metro schools. Please
subscribe to our e-newsletter to get updates about ONE NASHVILLE's activities throughout the year.
