Anne Clayton of Music City Tents and Events sees opportunity in Middle Tennessee’s scorching temps.
Clayton is in the fan and cooling rental business, and when her phone buzzes with customers hoping to rent fans, she has a ready answer: “We’re sold out.”
“We’re hearing from people who want to rent fans who aren’t even having events,” she said. “Then we have people calling for up to 10 at a time. We had to bring more fans in at a Cheekwood wedding this weekend after the maid of honor passed out during rehearsal.”
