Velocity sale more proof of Nashville's white-hot rental scene

Nashville’s Velocity in the Gulch, the once beleaguered condo project now booming as a rental building, is slated to set a new sales record.

An out-of-town buyer has agreed to buy the building’s 220 rental units from Atlanta-based Pollack Partners, who paid $25.3 million to Compass Bank for the building last year, according to multiple real estate sources. The deal is expected to close within the next few weeks.
