You may have thought Los Angeles, San Francisco or even Denver would top Nashville as a meeting destination. Think again.
Out of 1,000 cities and 200 metropolitan areas in the U.S., Nashville ranked No. 14 as a top meeting location, beating the three cities mentioned, as well Boston, Austin and Tampa, according to Cvent, an event management software company. With Music City Center opening next year, Nashville is on the right track to increase its competitiveness, said Eric Eden, vice president of Cvent marketing.
