NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Sept. 15, 2010) – The Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the winners of the 2010 Future 50 Awards. Now in its 19th year, the Future 50 program identifies and celebrates the 50 fastest-growing, privately held companies in the Nashville area. The winners have contributed to economic growth in areas such as health care, technology, construction, manufacturing, finance, retail and services.
To be eligible, companies must be privately owned; be headquartered in Middle Tennessee; have at least 10 employees or annual revenues of at least $500,000; and anticipate revenue and employment growth for the next three years.
Since the Future 50 program began, it has honored 951 companies, 45 of which have been honored as Future 50 Hall of Fame, denoting five total wins. In 2010, the Nashville Chamber congratulates six Hall of Fame inductees, including Advanced Network Solutions; Concept Technology, Inc.; Correct Care Solutions, LLC; NovaCopy; Optimum Technology Solutions Inc.; and Sitters Etc., Inc.
“Future 50 companies are a testament to the ideal business climate in Middle Tennessee. The success of these companies helps drive economic growth in this area,” said Chamber president & CEO Ralph Schulz. “The success of these companies reinforces Middle Tennessee’s reputation as a good place to start and grow a business. It’s important that we recognize these companies for the contributions to our community.”
“Recognition like this is so important for small business owners and their employees. It can provide the exposure and motivation to propel their business to a new level of success. Future 50 has provided that forum for nearly two decades,” said Charles Sueing, Nashville Chamber chair for small business and owner of The Sueing Agency/Nationwide Insurance.
An awards dinner honoring the 2010 Future 50 winners will be held Thursday, Oct. 21, at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel. Visit
