Five transit projects will share in $1.65 million in federal funds awarded this morning by the Nashville Area Metropolitan Planning Organization.
The projects include two focused on smartphone apps that would make it easier to use buses and vanpools — one will tell Nashville MTA bus riders exactly when buses will arrive, and the other will match commuters with available rideshare seats in Williamson County.
