Southern Land Co. has roughly 1.5 acres near the corner of 17th Avenue South and Broadway under contract with plans for an apartment community with up to 300 units.
The Franklin-based developer could close on the contract it has with “a private individual” this summer, said Ken Howell, its chief financial officer. However, he said Southern Land is still studying potential scenarios to determine a timeline for construction and completion.
