About the International Business Council

The International Business Council of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce provides a forum for Middle Tennessee companies that are already conducting or plan to conduct business internationally.

The IBC's mission is to promote economic growth in Middle Tennessee by encouraging and assisting local businesses to expand into international markets through bilateral international trade.

Membership:
IBC membership is open to any company, organization or individual and is free of charge. Members receive notifications of all IBC and other international events in the mid-state. You can register for IBC membership by completing the online membership application.

Events and Programs:
The IBC organizes a program of events providing opportunities for networking with the international business community and including international business education. Such events usually take the form of breakfasts or luncheons with keynote speakers, seminars, receptions and other networking opportunities. In addition, the IBC will organize outbound trade missions and assist in hosting inbound missions. Activities are planned and implemented through the IBC Board of Directors. This board is responsible for the planning and development of specific programs and marketing those programs to the IBC membership.
