Sponsorship Opportunities

The Nashville Health Care Trade Mission, hosted by the Nashville Health Care Council and the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, offers a select number of unique sponsorship opportunities that provide a high level of exposure, along with invaluable one-on-one connections with the leadership of Nashville's vibrant health care industry. Day and evening sponsor packages are outlined below.

Day Sponsorship Package
Day Sponsors are the sole sponsor for an entire day during the mission. This package includes sponsorship of the delegates' continental breakfast, the morning business meetings, lunch with delegates, speakers and other dignitaries, and any tours or cultural activities scheduled for that day. As a Day Sponsor, you will receive the following:
  • Signage on a notification piece that announces each day's Day and Evening Sponsor. The notification will be delivered to each delegate's room the previous night.
  • Opportunity to moderate business briefing sessions or make remarks to the delegation, as appropriate
  • Opportunity to distribute promotional materials to delegates and guests
  • Opportunity to invite guests to sponsored events
  • Logo on trade mission signage
  • Logo on all trade mission materials
  • Mention in all media releases
  • Contact information for all delegates and speakers

    Evening Sponsorship Package
    Evening Sponsors are the sole sponsor of an evening event during the mission, with the exception of the Farewell Dinner on Friday, September 12, which is separately available as either one or two sponsorships. As an Evening Sponsor, you will receive the following:
  • Signage on a notification piece that announces each day's Day and Evening Sponsor. The notification will be delivered to each delegate's room the previous night.
  • Opportunity to make welcome remarks at the sponsored event where possible
  • Opportunity to invite guests to the sponsored event
  • Opportunity to distribute promotional materials to delegates and guests
  • Opportunity to invite guests to certain trade mission events
  • Logo on trade mission signage
  • Logo on all trade mission materials
  • Mention in all media releases
  • Contact information for all delegates and speakers

    Day Sponsor Opportunities

    Weekend Arrivals Sponsorship
    Saturday, September 6 and Sunday, September 7
    Sponsorship Commitment: $2,000

    "Arrivals" include the events of the two weekend days providing the opportunity of welcoming delegates and spouses to Stockholm and the Seventh Nashville Health Care Trade Mission. Events and opportunities include:
  • Sponsor's collateral piece, welcome gift, etc. presented to each delegate on check-in at the Grand Hotel
  • "Early Arrivals Dinner" -- Saturday, September 6 in the 17th-century "Fem Sma Hus" (Five Small Houses) restaurant in Stockholm's Old Town
  • "Early Arrivals Tour" -- Sunday, September 7 by scheduled ferry to Drotningholm Palace
  • Airport "meet & greet" -- Sunday, September 7 for arrival of the main delegate group
  • Afternoon Hospitality Suite with refreshments at the Grand Hotel for early arrivals and main delegate group to relax and check in at leisure

    Stockholm Day Sponsorships
    Monday, September 8 and Tuesday, September 9
    Sponsorship Commitment: $2,000 each day

    The Stockholm "Day Sponsor" opportunities cover the daytime events for each of the two days of briefings and cultural tours. Events and opportunities include:
  • Delegates' continental breakfast prior to morning briefings
  • Refreshment breaks
  • Buffet lunch for delegates and speakers
  • Either spouse or group cultural tour
  • Opportunity to participate in briefings by moderating a panel, introducing speakers, making welcome remarks, etc.
  • Invite up to four guests to participate in briefings, lunch and cultural tours

    Travel Day Sponsorship
    Wednesday, September 10
    Sponsorship Commitment: $2,000

    On Wednesday, September 10, the group will check out of the Grand Hotel, Stockholm, fly to Berlin and check in to the Adlon Kempinski in Berlin. Events and opportunities include:
  • Hospitality suite with refreshments at the Adlon Kempinski where guests check in at leisure and wait for bags to be delivered to their rooms
  • Sponsor's collateral piece, welcome gift, etc. presented to each delegate on check-in at the Adlon Kempinski
  • Casual traditional German buffet dinner at Habel Weinkultur -- a five-minute walk from the Hotel Adlon

    Berlin Day Sponsorships
    Thursday, September 11 and Friday, September 12
    Sponsorship Commitment: $2,000 each day

    The Berlin Day Sponsor opportunities cover the daytime events for each of the two days of briefings and cultural tours. Events and opportunities include:
  • Delegates' continental breakfast prior to morning briefings
  • Refreshment breaks
  • Buffet lunch for delegates and speakers
  • Either spouse or group cultural tour
  • Opportunity to participate in briefings by moderating a panel, introducing speakers, making welcome remarks, etc.
  • Invite up to four guests to participate in briefings, lunch and cultural tours

    Evening Sponsor Opportunities

    Arrival Reception and Dinner
    Grand Hotel Stockholm, Sunday, September 7
    Sponsorship Commitment: $6,000

    The Arrival Reception will be held in the Hanna Winges Salong, followed by dinner in the adjoining Scholanderska Rummet at the Grand Hotel. Dinner will feature a welcome address from a leading Swedish health care, business or political personality. This evening marks the formal start of the trade mission and sets the tone for the remainder of the week. The sponsor will be recognized at the dinner and will have the opportunity to make welcome remarks.

    Sunset Cocktail Cruise
    Stockholm, Monday, September 8
    Sponsorship Commitment: $2,500

    Delegates and spouses will have the opportunity to view Stockholm and the archipelago from the water during a 90-minute cruise aboard the vintage pleasure cruiser "Oden Gamle," chartered for our exclusive use. The Sunset Cruise is a casual and relaxing evening and a favorite event of past missions. Guests are served drinks and hors d'oeuvres, and fine Cuban cigars are offered to cigar smokers.

    U.S. Embassy Receptions
    Stockholm -- Tuesday, September 9
    Berlin -- Thursday, September 11
    Sponsorship Commitment: $6,000 each reception

    The U.S. ambassadors to Sweden and Germany will host receptions for the Nashville Health Care delegation and spouses to meet and network with more than 100 of each country's leaders from health care, government and business. The U.S. ambassadors or their deputies will make welcoming remarks. The sponsor will be given prominent recognition at the reception, including the opportunity to make welcome remarks if possible.

    Trade Mission Farewell Dinner
    Ageordnetenrestaurant, the Reichstag
    Berlin -- Friday, September 12
    Sponsorship Commitment: $12,000

    The final event of the 2008 Nashville Health Care Trade Mission will be a special dinner for delegates, spouses and guests held in the private members' dining room of the historic German Parliament, the Reichstag. Dinner will include remarks from a prominent member of the German government and a short tour of the parliament. Following dinner, guests will be invited to the rooftop terrace and the Norman Foster-designed cupola of the Reichstag for breathtaking views of Berlin by night. The sponsors will be recognized at the dinner and will have the opportunity to make remarks.
