History
The Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber's small business department are committed to the
growth and development of small business in Middle Tennessee.
The Music City Future 50 program was initiated in 1992 as a way to underscore that commitment by
identifying and recognizing the 50 fastest-growing small businesses in the Nashville area.
Nomination criteria for the Music City Future 50 are based upon past and projected revenue and employment growth, and can be viewed by clicking here.
Since the Music City Future 50 program began in 1992, it has honored 751 companies, with the only tie in the history of the event occurring in 1996. Of those 751 honorees, 29 companies have been honored as Music City Future 50 Hall of Fame companies, denoting five total Future 50 wins.
