Nominate

The nomination process for the 2007 Music City Future 50 Awards is now closed. Winners were honored at the awards dinner on Tuesday, Sept. 18.

The Music City Future 50 Awards program begins in mid-May with the call for nominations. This call for nominations is open to the public; a company does not have to be a member of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce in order to nominate themselves or be nominated. The deadline for nominations was July 2, 2007.

This award is designed to identify the 50 fastest-growing privately held companies in the Nashville area. All information given is confidential and will be used solely to determine the Future 50 winners. All applications will be reviewed and tabulated by KraftCPAs, the official accounting firm of the Music City Future 50. The application takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. A company can, and is encouraged to, nominate itself. There are no fees associated with the nomination form.

In order to qualify for the Music City Future 50, your company must meet the following criteria:

  • Privately owned (not publicly traded, or a subsidiary of a publicly traded company);
  • Headquartered in Middle Tennessee;
  • Have at least 10 employees or an annual revenue of at least $500,000; and
  • Anticipate revenue and employment growth of 10 percent or more per year for the next three years
Being named to the Music City Future 50 has many benefits, including:
  • Exposure and publicity for your company
  • Recognition in the community as one of Middle Tennessee's fastest-growing companies
  • Listing in the Music City Future 50 special section, to be published in The Tennessean
  • Being honored at the Future 50 awards dinner on September 18
