University of Memphis

University of Memphis The University of Memphis is an urban university with an enrollment of approximately 20,000 undergraduate and graduate students. The student population is diverse in terms of racial/ethnic makeup, and enrolls a large number of non-traditional students. It offers degree programs from the baccalaureate to doctoral level in all areas of business, engineering and technology, teacher education, liberal and fine arts, as well as the sciences. Additionally, the university has many professional programs, including law, international MBA and nursing, and a speech and audiology program listed as one of the top 30 in the country. The university is committed to high standards in teaching as well as research, and strives to increase the ratio of doctoral programs it offers, which will increase emphasis on research conducted at the university.
