Excellence in Manufacturing Awards
Celebrate Manufacturing Excellence in Middle Tennessee!
The Nashville-area manufacturing community is one of the strongest segments of the regional economy, accounting for more than 78,000 jobs in the Nashville MSA. Nashville's central location at the conjunction of three interstates has led to the area's development as a U.S. distribution hub. The region has also grown into one of the country's leading auto manufacturing corridors, with first- and second-tier suppliers located in the area. The continued expansion and prosperity of this solid manufacturing base is critical to the long-term stability of the Nashville-area economy.
The Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce created the Excellence in Manufacturing Awards program to recognize and encourage manufacturers in the 10-county Middle Tennessee region that have contributed to the region's economic health by achieving excellence in their respective industries and operations. This year, we expanded the definition of manufacturing to include the warehousing and distribution aspects of the supply chain, recognizing excellence in all three sectors.
