The Nashville Area Chamber's policy advisory committee has released their 2008 state policy agenda recommendations and transportation priorities/issues list. Both documents were adopted by the Chamber Board of Directors on December 13, 2007.

In keeping with the goal of providing business advocacy at all levels of government, the Chamber annually highlights issues of importance to Chamber-member businesses and to the community at large. The state policy agenda recommendations include issues of public education, higher education, economic development, transportation and infrastructure.
