New International Ranking Showcases Nashville's Economic Growth

According to rankings released earlier this week in the Global Monitor, the Brookings Institution's ongoing research project on metropolitan areas worldwide, the Nashville economic market moved up in the ranking of the world's top 200 cities for economic growth during 2011.

Nashville showed significant job and income growth during 2011, rising to 89th place from 163rd during 2007-2010.
