Nashville-area home sales increased again in August.
The Greater Nashville Association of Realtors reported 2,047 closings, an increase of 28.4 percent over the same month last year. After months of declining year-to-year comparisons, it was the second straight monthly increase. Despite the July and August bump, year-to-date sales are still down 4.6 percent against 2010.
