Justin Schmidt, owner

Q: How do you define success?
A: We call a sign project a success when our customer sees an increase in sales and/or brand value. We only succeed when our customers can say their business is better than it was before they worked with Palladium Signs.

Q: What’s the best thing about doing business in Middle Tennessee?
A: It’s great to see the area grow both economically and culturally.

Q: What’s the best advice you ever received?
A: The best advice I got was from a fellow sign maker. He told me that no one will know your business and customers better than you do, so don’t put someone else in front of them. I’ve followed his advice by not hiring salesmen or customer support. When you come to Palladium Signs, you don’t just get a good sign company; you get the best sign guy in town.

Q: What has been the most valuable aspect of your Chamber membership?
A: The Chamber has given me ways to be involved in the Nashville community that I wouldn’t have had otherwise. Not only have those opportunities helped me grow my own business; they have also led to lasting relationships, both personal and professional, that long outlive the projects that formed them.
