A: TN Textile Mill is a small mill located in Goodlettsville that produces hand-woven, natural fabric from cotton, linen, silk and wool. We predominantly sell to designers who then use our fabrics to create their collections. We are unique in that the bulk of our fabrics are woven by hand — a time-consuming, laborious, ancient art. The results are one-of-a-kind, custom-designed fabrics that stand out from the mass-produced fabric manufactured offshore.
Q: What’s the best thing about doing business in Middle Tennessee?
A: Due to the ever-growing fashion industry in Nashville, this is the perfect city to launch our company. Having the Nashville Fashion Alliance help facilitate synergies among many of the producers and end users, this is the right city to be doing business in at the right time.
Q: What’s your biggest goal for your company in the next year?
A: Our biggest goal in the coming year is to end the year as a profitable enterprise with a growing list of satisfied customers here in Nashville and throughout the country.

A: As many business owners already know, you must constantly keep an eye on your cash flow and fiscal well being, and understand that solving problems is what most business owners spend the bulk of their time doing. Expect the unexpected and be creative in finding solutions to your obstacles. In the end, none of what you do matters if you are not controlling your expenses and growing your sales.
