Nashville Area Chamber Announces 2017 Academies of Nashville Award Winners


Congratulations to the winners of the 2017 Academies of Nashville Awards! #AON2017

The Academies of Nashville recognition ceremony, held today at Rocketdown in downtown Nashville, marked the seventh year the Chamber has held the event, designed to recognize teachers, students, administrators and companies playing an integral role in the success of the Metro Nashville Public Schools’ program of applied learning for high school students. The awards program is sponsored by Altria, Deloitte, Dollar General, The HCA Foundation, Nissan, Saint Thomas Health and The Memorial Foundation.

"The partnerships with our region's businesses help students realize their futures; ensuring that each student is prepared for next steps is a fantastic opportunity to increase our graduates in the region," says Ralph Schulz, president and CEO, Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce.

A panel of business and community leaders voted on the nominees for the 2017 Academies of Nashville awards. The 2017 winners are:
