Q: What has been the most valuable aspect of your Chamber membership?
We think that the Chamber of Commerce should be viewed as a valuable business partner. Networking is imperative for any small business owners. The Chamber of Commerce gives us the opportunity to meet with other local business owners, networking and opportunities to get involved in the community. They partner with local organizations to help bring awareness to a need. They also present business owners in a positive light to the community. The other valuable aspect of being a member is that customers tend to responsd more favorably to businesses that are members of the chamber. This helps add further credibility to our services and products.

Established in 2020, Chào Nail + Bar is a high-end nail salon that is proudly committed to quality services and experience for all clients. We offer an eco-friendly atmosphere that delights the senses and brings joy to the body, mind and spirit. Our mission is to provide innovative, health-conscious and personalized services through a team of highly trained and creative professionals. Our facility is engineered with the most advanced and powerful ventilation system as per International Mechanical Code requirements. It is designed to protect the breathing zone of both manicurists and their clients. We also offer a private party area to accommodate large groups for corporate and private events (e.g. bachelorette, wedding showers, birthdays, etc.)

We are proud to offer individual dipping jars for each dip powder service. Clients can be assured no community jar is being used minimizing the risk of bacteria/fungus/germ transmission. Also, all metal tools are cleaned, disinfected, sanitized and then sterilized through a medical-grade, high-pressure autoclave process to ensure 100% microbe-, spore-, and fungi-free tools. With a world-class, environment-friendly ventilation system including HEPA filters, we want to make sure you enjoy your time with us and feel nothing but relaxation. We also offer optional special feature audio-guided meditation at no additional charge for guests to relax or rejuvenate while being pampered.

Q: What best business practices have you learned from 2020 and what did you do to be creative to remain in business?
As COVID-19 continues to push people outside their comfort zones, businesses that are pivoting to innovation and creativity have been able to survive and even thrive. There’s always room for more preparation and 2020 has been the definitive proof of that. There’s no guarantee that things will be better next year and over-preparing is always a good habit to have (or start). But most significantly, the quality of work we deliver is more important than ever before. From the very beginning, we always strive to offer high-class quality and no less. In addition, safety of our employees and guests are also on the high priority list. We have to spend and invest more to provide PPEs, masks and other essential equipment to keep everyone in the salon safe. We have greatly learned from this situation so we can say that we are now ready to face another year with our heads and hopes up high.
