Q: Who is Enneagram Solutions, LLC and what should we know about you?

Enneagram Solutions, LLC works to drive excellence for our clients by creating and supporting high-powered teams, leading workshops, and coaching business and organizational leaders. Business leaders know that to be successful, they need to know the nuts and bolts of their business, but they also have to be effective. They must be self-aware so they can leverage their strengths and understand themselves at a nuanced level. They also must collaborate optimally in the midst of today’s complexity and they have to engage themselves and their teams to live into their business goals. So our job is to give our clients a clear pathway to being highly effective as business leaders that is highly practical and tailored to meet them exactly where they are.

Q: What’s the best thing about doing business in Middle Tennessee?

The best thing about doing business in Middle TN is the creativity that is such a big part of our culture. The energy and creativity of the music industry coupled with the innovation of the healthcare sector (especially this last year as we have navigated the pandemic and vaccine development/ distribution) are two examples where business leads the way in creating meaning in people’s lives. I feel fortunate in my role in supporting leadership teams and individual leaders to maximize their effectiveness and capacity as they do such important work for the community.

Q: What has been the most valuable aspect of your Chamber membership?

My hope is that by being a member of the Chamber, I will be able to support the business community in Middle TN in general by helping business leaders and teams fully leverage their strengths, manage their weaker areas, and collaborate optimally in order to reach their business and organizational goals.

Q: How do you stay involved in the community?

I try to be involved in the community in a number of ways. I am a double Vanderbilt alum and football season ticket holder, which is an important and fun part of my fall every year. We also have season tickets to TPAC and Cheekwood to stay engaged in the arts. It is also important to me to give back, so I try to always be serving on at least one Board of Directors. I am currently on the Boards of both Miriam’s Promise adoption agency and the TN Chapter of the International Coaching Federation.

Q: What’s your biggest goal for your company in the next year?

To partner with at least two more mid-size businesses to support them in creative ways as we all come back to a normal work life after more than a year of the pandemic. That might look like leading workshops that teach people have to use the incredible power of the Enneagram to deepen self awareness, support collaboration, and drive engagement, or it might look like coaching a leadership team to build trust, engage in creative conflict, and lead innovatively in these changing times.

Q: What best business practices have you learned from 2020 and what did you do to be creative or pivot to remain in business?

It has become a cliche answer, but my first thought is Zoom. I had used it a little in the past but it has become a staple for me this year, especially in coaching individual leaders. Having said that, I love nothing more than being in the room with a group of smart business leaders and helping them see things in new ways and solve problems they did not think were solvable. So while I appreciate Zoom, I hope it goes back to being Plan B in the near future!
