Q: What has been the most valuable aspect of your Chamber membership?

Directory and being able to prospect new clients and partners; always being up to date with what is happening in Nashville.

Q: Who is Mason Lofts at West End and what should we know about you?

Mason Lofts at West End is a sustainable Boutique Aparthotel located in West End Park, Nashville. The location gives you the best of both worlds: Unwind and relax in the quaint and quiet West End neighborhood, within a walking distance of Vanderbilt and Belmont Universities, Centennial Park, and the trendy Hillsboro Village, or take a quick 9-minute car ride to the hustle and bustle of Broadway. We rent contemporary, spacious and fully furnished 1 to 4-bedroom apartments with equipped open kitchens, for short term and extended stays. With easy access to all units, a secured parking garage, a reception open every day from 9 to 5, Mason Lofts is ideal for anyone looking for temporary accomodation, or to celebrate a special event (Student Graduation, Birthday, Bachelorette party...).

Q: What is unique about your business that makes you stand out?

At Mason Lofts, we take every decision according to two principles: provide the best guest experience possible and be respectful of our environment (People+Planet). More than a hotel, it is a place where our guests can feel like home, while having a great Nashville experience, thanks to our local partnerships (with transportation service, local gym, restaurants, photographer...), and our special packages (bike rental, beer sampler, Nashville specialties sampler...)

Q: What's your biggest goal for your company in the this year?

Start a compost program and a roof container garden to provide fresh herbs, vegetables and flowers to our guests and the Neighborhood's pollinators.

Q: What best business practices have you learned from 2020 and what did you do to be creative to remain in business?

New way of cleaning apartments and interact with guests due to COVID-19; how to be more flexible with reservation and cancellation policies, how to diversify a clientele to be more resilient, find creative ways to generate revenue such as add-on packages; Have our own website and push direct bookings, instead of relying on third party platforms. More than ever, find ways to distinguish ourselves from our competitors by offering a unique guest experience.

Q: How do you stay involved in the community?

By developing local partnerships so that, as small businesses, we support and promote one another.
