The Chamber’s help in establishing relationships with hospitality businesses in the Nashville area, and providing many resources for spreading the word about Gigpro.


What is Gigpro and what should we know about you?

We are an app for the hospitality industry, started by people in the industry. We’re not just filling shifts, we’re bringing instant staffing solutions to the table for the entire industry. From people looking to make a bit of extra cash to businesses grappling with changes in demand, connecting people who want to work with people who need workers is what Gigpro is all about. Gigpro has streamlined a seamless system to connect people who want work with people who have work that needs to be done—with Gigpro’s on-demand model, being short-staffed can be a thing of the past. We charge a small fee to businesses to fill temporary shifts, but we have no recruitment fees if the business wants to hire someone who’s worked a gig.


What is unique about your business that makes you stand out?

We care. We’re not just here to drive awareness of our app. We’re here to change people’s lives and bring workers back to the hospitality industry by providing instant staffing to business and providing workers flexible schedules, great pay, and a better work/life balance.


What’s your biggest goal for your company this year?

To get as many hospitality businesses as possible the staff they need now. To attract hospitality experienced workers back to the workforce by providing better pay, flexible schedules, and a better work/life balance.


What best business practices did you learn in 2020 during the pandemic and what did you do to be creative?

We created a solutions based app to provide instant, on demand staff to hospitality businesses.
