What's the best thing about doing business in Middle Tennessee?
I came to Middle Tennessee to be closer to family. Doing business in Middle Tennessee allows me to help my family, friends and others with their various insurance needs.
What has been the most valuable aspect of your Chamber membership?
The single most valuable aspect of my Chamber membership is the networking opportunities. You have the chance to meet your next client or business partnership.
Who is Margarette Farmer Licensed Insurance Agent and what should we know about you?
I have been a military wife, worked for the military, the mother of a retired military son and presently the grand mother of two military grandsons. I am a Licensed Insurance Agent selling Medicare, Health and Life Insurance. Something you should know about me is I will get you the best plan even if that means I have to refer you to another agent.
What is unique about your business that makes you stand out?
I have a background in social work and helping people is my passion. I bring that same passion to my work as an insurance agent.
What's your biggest goal for your company this year?
My goal is to help 300 people obtain insurance a year.
What best business practices did you learn in 2020 during the pandemic and what did you do to be creative?
Zoom has been an invaluable tool. I can always adapt to our ever changing world.
What’s your best piece of advice for other business owners?
Find what works and expand on it.
How do you stay involved in the community?
I am the chairperson of my church's benevolence committee and am well aware of the struggles of everyday Tennesseans.
