What's the best thing about doing business in Middle Tennessee?

What ISN’T great about doing business in Middle Tennessee?! There’s always something new popping up, especially within the hospitality industry, which makes introducing Qwick to local businesses so fun and exciting. We love the creativity and liveliness of the local Food & Bev scene and getting to know the stories of the people behind it. Hospitality just hits different in places like Nashville. We love being part of it all.

What is Qwick and what should we know about you?

Qwick is the professional platform at the heart of hospitality, giving businesses the flexibility to fill shifts with experienced industry freelancers in real time. We launched in Nashville this past spring and are already trusted by hundreds of restaurants, hotels, caterers, stadiums, and more. Qwick serves thousands of talented local freelancers as an industry through-line.

What is unique about your business that makes you stand out?

Qwick is the only staffing platform dedicated solely to the hospitality industry that has an in-depth vetting process freelancers must pass before they are accepted onto the app. Only the best freelancers make their way into the Qwick network and your kitchens. Overall, we understand the nuances of running restaurants, hotels, catering companies, and more. We have created our platform around supporting the intricate needs of owners and operators, as well as industry freelancers, making it easy for businesses to fill shifts with quality talent. Hospitality is really at the heart of everything we do.

What's your biggest goal for your company this year?

Qwick just underwent a major rebrand that showcases the people and faces behind the hospitality, highlighting our commitment to supporting our freelancers and business partners. This coming year, we want to expand upon that by connecting further with the industry in Nashville—getting to know how F&B business needs are evolving so we can help them thrive. Qwick works in every corner of the industry but this year we want to especially make a point to connect with facets of hospitality such as catering companies, event venues, food service, and cafeterias at businesses like universities and senior living facilities, which Qwick supports as well.

How do you stay involved in the community?

In hospitality, the human connection is so important. We stay involved by patronizing new businesses and connecting with owners and operators as much as possible. We're not just here to get you staffed, we're also here to get to know you. We love getting to know the talented freelancers that are on Qwick, too. Being able to put a face to a name and business is so important and helps us further serve the people behind the industry.
