Regions Bank is now the official bank of the Nashville Predators and Bridgestone Arena. The new agreement takes Regions and the Preds back 25 years when Regions, through its predecessor banks, was an original sponsor of the then-new NHL franchise.
‚”Our three organizations – Regions, the Predators, and Bridgestone Arena – are part of the fabric of Nashville,” said Lee Blank, Nashville Market Executive for Regions Bank. ‚”We’re coming together, not just for a sponsorship, but to continue a shared history of serving and supporting Middle Tennessee.”
To mark the renewed collaboration, the Predators’ 25th Anniversary season jersey will feature a Regions patch. It’s a groundbreaking move for the Preds that’s in line with a wave gaining momentum across the NHL. The historic jersey patch was unveiled to Regions associates during a presentation at Bridgestone Arena. View the new jersey in this video.
‚”As we enter our 25th Anniversary season, we are proud to align with Regions, a partner that we share a rich history with and whose core values overlay so well with our own,” said Sean Henry, CEO of the Nashville Predators. ‚”Our shared vision for our community, our team members and our treasured clients and fans are where we each focus our energies. We are so thankful to bring our vision and that commitment together for all of SMASHVILLE.”
Regions Bank is now also the sponsor of the Predators’ Ford Ice Centers across Middle Tennessee, which see 2.4 million visitors per year. The bank will soon debut checking and debit card products and other services tailored for Preds fans.
Blank says the bank looks forward to creating more ways to leverage its official sponsor status to benefit its customers, associates, and the Greater Nashville community.
‚”Our 140 years of serving Middle Tennessee, and our history of community involvement, make Regions Bank uniquely Nashville – just like the Predators and Bridgestone Arena,” Blank said. ‚”This is just the beginning of a new stage of our journey together to provide more opportunities for more Nashvillians to be a part of the growth of this special place we all call home.”
