Position Description / Responsibilities
Summary: Under direction, is responsible for management and supervision of a team of Assessment and Stabilization Facilitators within assigned region; and performs related work as required.
Distinguishing Features: An employee in this class is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the Assessment & Stabilization Facilitators who perform a variety of consultative, intervention, and assessment work for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. An employee in this class will evaluate regional program data and assist internal leadership with program decisions.
Education and Experience: Licensed professional with a master’s degree from an accredited college or university in at least one of the following areas: social services, human services, education, psychology, or behavior analysis and three years full-time experience in supervising clinical staff.
Substitution of Education for Experience: Additional graduate coursework in special education, rehabilitation or therapeutic health, nursing, sociology, social work, or any behavioral science field may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis to a maximum of one year, there being no substitution for the one year of specialized experience.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree and experience equivalent to four years of professional developmental disabilities and/or mental health work, of which one must include professional developmental disabilities work.
