Position Description / Responsibilities
This position serves as the regional business manager for the region 4 office coordinating the administrative functions of the business office and supporting the staff of Region 4.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinating with Nashville Chiefs, Region-4 office staff and Region-4 division managers of ongoing issues or problems to ensure that personnel issues, license sales, procurement, inventory, MVM, time & attendance, credit cards and deposits are handled appropriately and according to policy.
- Managing the office facility, recommending annual and long-range planning for the maintenance of operations, including but not limited to, contracts, grounds maintenance, facilities maintenance janitorial services and HVAC maintenance/repair.
- Serving as Region-4 Liaison by coordinating information to and from public contacts, political outreaches, sister agencies and all Region-4 staff, as well as working with Nashville Chiefs and their staff, Directors Office other regions and divisions to ensure the Agency's mission and goals are met and advanced.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree AND experience equivalent to four years of full-time increasingly responsible professional staff administrative work. Qualifying full-time increasingly responsible sub professional, paraprofessional, or professional experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis, to a maximum of four years.
Additional graduate coursework in public administration, business administration, or other acceptable field may be substituted for the required experience, on a year-for-year basis, to a maximum of two years.
Three years of increasingly responsible professional administrative services experience with the State of Tennessee.
