Position Description / Responsibilities
The global responsibility for the Aspirant Sales Associate includes the pursuit of sales leads, presentation of products/services to prospective customers, closure/submission of the application process for products/services sold and ultimate issue of the policies/products/services sold. The Aspirant will also learn agency management skills in preparation to apply/compete for future State Farm Agency openings. Efforts to accomplish these tasks will be consistent with the State Farm Corporate Values of integrity, honesty, and value to the customer. In addition, Sales Associates will without exception abide by the laws of the State of Tennessee and other governmental and licensing agencies as they pertain to industry standards and practices.
Preferred 4-year college degree or commensurate life/professional experience.
Familiarity with /competence in utilizing computer/software technology required to manage sales and service to existing and prospective customers.
Property & Casualty and Life & Health Licensing by the State of Tennessee
1-3 Years successful sales experience – insurance industry preferred
1-3 Years successful customer service/satisfaction experience
