Position Description / Responsibilities
The Behavior Coach position serves special needs students with severe emotional and behavioral needs. Behavior Coaches work in a classroom setting alongside Metro School staff to develop behavioral interventions and incentives, assist in crises, and participate in meetings to assist in the success of each student. Group sessions are also conducted by each Behavior Coach twice a week. This position is at Murrell School and requires a collaborative approach with school staff and a teamwork attitude.
This is a school based 10 month position and requires a Bachelor’s degree in a mental health/social work related field and one year of experience working with children with emotional/behavioral needs is preferred. We are seeking applicants with a strong work ethic and professional attitude that have a passion for working with children. This 10 month position starts at 23,000 and includes benefits.
