The Nashville Entrepreneur Center (EC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 2010 to support people and businesses through all phases of the entrepreneurial lifecycle. We connect entrepreneurs with critical resources to create, launch and grow businesses. This includes our coworking space, programs, events, mentorship, and entrepreneurial community. We are seeking a full-time Donor Relations Associate to join our Nashville-based team.


The Donor Relations Associate is responsible for all administrative aspects of Development activities. This individual will report directly to the Chief Strategic Alliances Officer and will participate in and support all Development activities, including donor relations and data management, fundraising activities, communications, committee meetings, and special events. We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented individual who will bring a high degree of professionalism and efficiency while embodying the mission of our organization to external stakeholders. Responsibilities include:

● Maintain and manage donor management software platform, ensuring existing and
prospective donor information is complete, accurate, and reliable
● Create and process donor invoices, ensuring timely tracking and collection of contributed
● Generate and deliver monthly donor reporting and gift acknowledgments
● Coordinate production and mailing of appeal and renewal letters
● Conduct preliminary research on prospective donors and grants
● Handle administrative details, registration, and guest lists associated with fundraising
events and committee meetings
● Take meeting notes as needed, following up to ensure timely execution of identified tasks
● Other duties as assigned by the Chief Strategic Alliances Officer

Position Requirements

Other qualifications include:

● 1-3 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, donor management, and/or administration
● Proficiency in PowerPoint, in addition to other Microsoft and Google Suite Applications
● Proficiency in Raisers Edge Donor Management Platform preferred
● Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent preferred
● Experience in event planning and coordination a plus
