Position Description / Responsibilities

Colliers International, one of the world’s leading commercial real estate firms, is seeking a Graphic Design and Marketing Director for the Nashville, Tennessee office. The position has responsibility for development of all marketing and collateral for a 40-member commercial real estate brokerage team, along with secondary oversight of advertising and other marketing initiatives for the firm. The leading candidate for the position will have an extensive design background, and strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Powerpoint.

• Lead marketing consultations with internal broker clients to determine project needs, collateral needs, timelines, and creative marketing solutions for their projects.

•Design and create collateral for the brokerage team, with the support of other administrative team members. This collateral includes marketing brochures, offering memorandums, proposals, market reports, maps, site plans, financial information, and demographic reports, often utilizing various approved Colliers templates.

• Work with other Colliers International offices across North America and with corporate resources to assure that the Nashville office is offering leading-edge marketing campaigns and collateral. Lead the adoption of new technologies and campaigns firmwide.

• Manage advertising campaign development in partnership with the firm’s third-party agency and assist with developing and managing annual advertising placement schedules. Serve as liaison with the third-party agency, managing the creative projects that are outsourced to the agency.

• Website content management of the Colliers.com domain and several others

• Work with the organization’s administrative team and research director on email marketing campaigns and e-blasts through the Emma software program

• Assist Research Director with graphics for quarterly market reports

• Event and meeting support / execution for in-house meetings and client presentations, including assisting brokers with AV needs for major meetings and client presentations;

• Training of brokers during bi-monthly broker meetings on basic marketing tools and resources available through Colliers. This position makes monthly presentations at broker meetings

• Assist in one-on-one training of brokers on marketing techniques such as PDF creation, calendaring events, etc.

• Binding and assembly of packages, working with brokers to assure that presentations and proposals are well-designed, well-packaged and ready for the client.

• Planning of monthly all-hands meetings including developing the agendas, lining up guest speakers, and assembling Powerpoint presentations for those monthly meetings.




Position Requirements

• High level of competency (3+ years of experience) in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop in a PC environment. Advanced level expertise in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint). Knowledge or experience with Regis mapping software a plus

• Demonstrable experience in print and electronic marketing methods

• Advanced internet research techniques and abilities

• Demonstrable experience in print and electronic marketing methods 

• Ability to prioritize projects based on internal client needs, and the ability to keep multiple projects moving through the pipeline in a quick, high-quality fashion

• Strong communication skills in order to conduct marketing consultations with the in-house brokerage team, and to manage the relationship with third-party marketing agencies.

• Excellent writing and proof-reading skills Strong presentation skills
