Position Description / Responsibilities

How you make a difference in this role:

The Learning Materials Designer will be housed in the Talent Management Learning & Development (TMLD) Technical Unit which is responsible for designing and formatting all TMLD learning modules and related materials, including PowerPoint presentations, Facilitator Guides, Learner Guides and other learning resources used in classroom and virtual settings. The Learning Materials Designer has three major areas of responsibility. First, this position will be responsible for working with the design team on the development and execution of various design projects including but not limited to learning materials, infographics, video, animation, templates, enhancement of existing materials, and branding. Secondly, the Learning Materials Designer will be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing photos and videos for internal and external customers. Third, this position will also have responsibility for internal marketing and communications for the office of Talent Management Learning & Development.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in art, communications graphic technology, art advertising and/or graphic arts design At least two years of full-time graphic art and/or graphic design and video work preferred.

Any position could ultimately be designated as work from home, mobile work or free address (i.e., Employees work in office and can choose from various space options based on need for a given day such as private meeting rooms, conference rooms, collaborative spaces and enclaves for individual work assignments.)
