Artwork Proofing Graphic Designer Needed!

Job Description
Artwork Proofers/Graphic Designers will work alongside our Customer Service team to directly communicate with customers and factories with the goal of completing product proofs with customer artwork for the promotional products industry. Applicants should have a positive and professional attitude, be computer savvy, hard-working and detail oriented with the ability to complete high volumes of proofs and field phone calls/online chats from potential/existing customers.

This position has a starting pay range of $31,000 - $35,000/year with increases available based on experience. Recent College Graduates are encouraged to apply; this position is available with the intention of long-term growth and advancement. Artwork Proofers will work onsite at our Hendersonville, TN location during the first 90 days but can utilize our Work From Home program which is based on pay class and increase as the employee advances. Daily Tasks include:

- Comparing/Reviewing Recreated artwork against original submissions for accuracy.
- Placing logos/artworks on products virtually for visual proof to customer of final products.
- Reviewing artwork against printing standards for specific print method and size.
- Sending proofs to customer for review/approval
- Communicating with customers who have questions regarding their proof or the process.
- Complete revisions requested by customers.
- Customer follow-ups by phone and message.
- Work with Suppliers/Factories to complete orders that have been approved by customer.
- Special assignments could include print material design, marketing design, image creation and product configuration based on skill set.

Position Requirements

Required Job Skills:

Experienced & Savvy in Adobe Illustrator Cloud (or earlier versions): Job applicants are expected to fluently use Adobe Illustrator (version CS6 or earlier is ok). Most artwork proofing is completed in our own online portal, but Illustrator experience is needed as well.
Ability to Handle High Volume and High Pressure Situations: this position is a high volume position, with the workload ranging from 25-50+ proofs per day, excluding revisions and general correspondence with customers and suppliers. During peak season, that high volume increases, as does the pressure. Our company offers free rush productions to customers who often have an extremely tight turn time, which in turn, means the employee must be able to handle the pressure of completing that ‘hot’ job, as well as handling the other scheduled tasks for the day
Good Understanding of Vector Artwork: Job applicants are expected to have good understanding about vector artwork and how to manipulate vector artwork.
Phone/Email Etiquette: As an ecommerce business, our entire business is transacted through phone/email/internet. A comfort level using basic office extension phones is preferred. A professional, but friendly phone voice and email attitude is required. Email is managed through Outlook and Web based programs within our own systems.
Time Organization and Detail Oriented: The position requires a great attention to detail while handling time sensitive and personal information. Time management and task organization/prioritization will be a large portion of daily assignments, and Applicants must be able to organize both their time and their productivity to meet the daily demand this position will require.
Screen Printing Experience (not required): Job applicants that have any experience in the promotional products industry such as T?Shirt Screen Printing, promotional product decorating or embroidering will be heavily considered.
