Position Description / Responsibilities

Provide engineering and 3D Revit support for multiple projects that include HVAC and plumbing.
Perform HVAC load calculations, ductwork static pressure calculations, and pump head calculations.
Performs detailed phases of engineering work on major projects or total engineering work on projects of smaller or moderate scope.
May devise new approaches and solutions to problems encountered and communicates changes to the team.
Supervise and coordinate the work of less experienced engineers and designers and be responsible for checking a portion or all of the drawings completed on the project within the discipline.
Take part in client contact and business development activities.
Meets with client to define project scope, present project progress, and assure client satisfaction.
Write portions or all of the specifications and assist in or prepare total cost estimates.

Position Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited college program, which qualifies for licensure in the state of Tennessee, is required. Licensed in multiple states is a plus.
PE, plus six (6) or more years of related practical experience with former employer(s) required.
Experience with, and the ability to size HVAC equipment, duct equipment, and utility piping systems and plumbing systems.
Knowledge and experience using REVIT, as well as Microsoft Software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
