Position Description / Responsibilities
Provide SHARP and BE PROUD BE RESPONSIBLE evidence-based interventions to Youth (ages 10 through 19) within the local counties, detention centers and community. Participate in community outreach and educational activities. Administers surveys and collect data relative to program requirements. Network and coordinate program services with appropriate community contacts. Participate in all group meetings and staff trainings. Complete all necessary program reports. Responsible for any additional tasks deemed necessary by supervisor to best implement the program.
Minimum Bachelors degree in psychology, social services, or related field, with a minimum of 2 years experience preferred.
Knowledge of curricula facilitation strategies, public speaking, excellent organizational, communications and writing skills, creative problem solving, ability to coordinate multiple tasks, and familiarity with Microsoft office programs. Bi-lingual skills would be helpful.
Ability to be self-directed, to work with a team, motivate others and value cultural differences.
Must have reliable transportations and a current DL required.
