Position Description / Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Director of Adult Employment, Education, and Upward Economic Mobility provides leadership, oversight, and capacity building supports to MOBC’s Employment and Career Pathways, Re-Engagement Hub, and Adult Learning teams.

In partnership, with MOBC leadership this role works to develop the strategies, systems, and programs necessary to empower individuals and families toward educational success, economic security, and opportunities for future success. Key areas of responsibility include program planning, implementation, data evaluation and analysis; grant and contract compliance; and leadership coaching and professional development.

In collaboration with the other department leadership, The Senior Director of Adult Employment, Education, and Upward Economic Mobility is an active participant of the Family Success Network leadership team, supporting its efforts through community outreach, data collection and analysis, contract compliance, and insurance of two-generational Key Performance Indicators where all children are kindergarten ready, all caregivers have living wage paying jobs with ladder up opportunities, and all families are stable and thriving.
