Software Engineer Intern
Position Description / Responsibilities
INTERNING AT TA:
TechnologyAdvice is a team of driven minds who work in a collaborative and casual environment. It's the best of both worlds - a company with a solid foundation alongside a start-up mentality that allows us to turn on a dime. An internship at TechnologyAdvice isn't standard by any means. We believe the best way to learn is by doing. Upon completion of this part-time, paid internship, you will have immersed yourself in every aspect of software engineering.
As a Software Intern at TechnologyAdvice, you will be responsible for learning existing software systems that power our business. You will learn a lot while making software updates, working with databases, participating in Agile Ceremonies, using Jira/Confluence, etc. You will get the full experience of being a Junior Software Engineer at a fast growing company with a great culture. You will use your skills and knowledge to add your unique value to the process. This isn't a classroom. You'll learn by diving deep into the process you love most and collaborate with industry professionals, gaining direction and experience for your career along the way.
This is a part-time, paid internship opportunity. As an intern, you will enjoy the daily perks that all team members enjoy - catered lunches 4 times per week, free beverages and snacks, and the opportunity to participate in team outings. Additionally, your career can turn into anything you want here, as long as you’re willing to put in the work. We are seeking candidates who want to explore if there is a long-term career to grow into at TechnologyAdvice after the internship is completed.
