Position Description / Responsibilities

Under the guidance of the Chief Talent Development Officer, leads the strategy and implementation of the Chamber’s pre-K – 12th grade initiatives and projects including the Cabinet for Great Nashville Schools, the Chamber Education Report, the recruitment, coordination and support of business engagement in MNPS and the Academies of Nashville, early postsecondary experiences, and the successful transition from high school to postsecondary education or careers.

Supervision:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities at this time, may manage interns from time to time and other team members on special projects.

Decision Making:
Has decision making responsibilities within scope of work.

Fiscal Responsibility: Fiscal responsibilities for developing and managing budgets for pre-K through 12th grade initiatives and grants.

Project Management: This position is primarily focused on critical core responsibilities for education initiatives and has related cross team project assignments
