The NELAS celebrate the rising stars shaping Middle Tennessee’s future. Each year, the NELAS recognize our region’s emerging leaders—young professionals ages 21–40 across 17 industries—not just for professional excellence, but for their meaningful contributions to the community.
In a region fueled by innovation and civic engagement, young professionals are helping drive what’s next. They’re launching startups, leading teams, serving nonprofits, and building a stronger Nashville region. The NELAS shine a spotlight on these changemakers—our region’s next generation of leaders.
Nominations for the 2026 NELAS are open until April 30, 2026.

Nominate a young professional (ages 21–40) you believe should apply for the 2026 NELAS. After you submit the nomination form, the individual will receive an email invitation to complete the official application. Nominations are anonymous, and the nominee will not be able to see who submitted their name.
