Nashville Region Monthly Indicators

Indicators Highlight August 2017:  Employment in Nashville has grown steadily over the past year, with an overall increase of 39,400 jobs from August 2016 to August 2017.  In particular, leisure and hospitality employment has seen very strong growth.  This sector has grown by over 10% in the past year and added 10,700 jobs.  As Nashville continues to grow and become an increasingly popular tourism destination, it is likely to see continued strong growth in the leisure and hospitality sector moving forward.
