Q: What’s the best thing about doing business in Middle Tennessee?
The best thing about doing business in Middle Tennessee is the opportunity to really get to know your neighbors. The fact that we opened our hotel during a pandemic has truly shown how much the city is growing. We have had boundless support from the Chamber, from local businesses and even from our competing hotels. The encouragement and assistance that we have received since opening has been impeccable.
Q: Who is Fairfield Inn & Suites Nashville near Vanderbilt and what should we know about you?
We are a one of a kind Fairfield Inn managed by Kana Hotel Group. Our hotel was built with Nashville in mind. Our lobby is an ode to Music City with a new décor that provides a feeling of warmth while traveling. Our rooms were designed with the modern traveler’s needs to stay productive including a modern lounge chair. Several of our rooms offer a view of Downtown Nashville; making us feel closer as ever to the city. Some of our remarkable amenities include a large fitness center, outdoor heated pool, and complimentary hot buffet breakfast.
Q: What’s your biggest goal for your company in the this year?
Our biggest goal for 2021 is to make our hotel more prominent in the city. We would love for people to recognize our business and know where we are. We hope to make a name for ourselves as one of the premier Marriott hotels in Nashville.
Q: What best business practices have you learned from 2020 and what did you do to be creative to remain in business?
The best practice we have learned is to offer as much support as possible to our staff. With cross training our team we have really shown how much our employees have come together to make sure that our hotel remains operable. We have also come up with many unique flyers and promotions that we have sent out to our local Chamber Members to try to drum up some new business. Although opening in 2020 was definitely a struggle, we have powered through and are starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel. We hope that with the nonstop support of our city that we can continue to grow in 2021.
