Q: What’s the best thing about doing business in Middle Tennessee?

The people…people are proud to be a part of Nashville and Middle Tennessee. Regardless of whether they were born and raised or recently relocated here, they are advocates, evangelists for this community. This includes events and experiences that expand or celebrate all that Nashville has to offer.

Q: What has been the most valuable aspect of your Chamber membership?

We are brand new members and a brand new event for Nashville. Our goal primary goal is to use the Chamber to connect with as many companies and area businesses as possible in order to inform them of our event and the options that exist for engagement. Secondarily, we hope to demonstrate and drive meaningful awareness, tourism, and overall economic impact for the downtown core and the area as a whole.

Q: How do you stay involved in the community?

As an annual event, but also a residents, we are committed to being active and engage corporate citizens and good neighbors. We have the benefit of a unique platform that can create awareness and celebrate the accomplishments of people and organizations in our community. We have also strategically targeted groups and programs that benefit youth health and wellness, STEM learning, affordable housing and the skilled trades. Some of our partners include Monroe Carroll Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, Martha O’Bryan Center, MTSU School of Concrete and Construction Management and Walk / Bike Nashville.

Q: Who is the Music City Grand Prix and what should we know about you?

Music City Grand Prix is an annual three-day international festival of speed and sound featuring an NTT INDYCAR® SERIES, GT America and TransAm series racing events. The inaugural event will be held August 6-8, 2021 largely around the campus of Nissan Stadium. The event aims to create a comprehensive world-class international destination event that highlights Nashville, Tenn., the Music City and the Mid-South region. It will include multiple concerts, food, culture and entertainment centered on the speed, technology, skill and excitement of up-close urban INDYCAR and other forms of racing. Q: What’s your biggest goal for your company in the next year

To successfully execute and complete the inaugural Music City Grand Prix. To create an event that residents, visitors, fans and partners are excited for and are proud to be associated with year after year.

Q: What best business practices have you learned from 2020 and what did you do to be creative or pivot to remain in business?

To think big..but be flexible and adapt! We completed our equity raise and launched and internationally sanctioned IndyCar race in the midst of a pandemic.
