Q: Who is SERVPRO of South Nashville and what should we know about you?

Servpro is the nation’s leading and foremost fire and water cleanup and restoration company. With over 1800 franchises in the United States, Servpro is the number 1 brand in fire and water damage cleaning and restoration. We mitigate and restore homes and businesses after fire and water damages to make it “Like it Never Even Happened”. Most importantly, we are locally owned and operated so your support goes to local people who help make up the best brand in the industry. My grandfather founded Servpro and moved the headquarters to Middle TN in the 1980’s. I am proud to be the representative for the 3rd generation of Servpro and make our family proud!

Q: What’s the best thing about doing business in Middle Tennessee?

The best thing about doing business in Middle TN is that we get to do business where we love living. We both grew up in Middle TN and enjoy serving our community. Nashville is still very much a small town and we are grateful to be a part of it!

Q: What has been the most valuable aspect of your Chamber membership?

Our chamber membership has allowed us to make connections and help so many families and businesses in need of our services. We are eager to serve and restore after disaster strikes.

Q: How do you stay involved in the community?

My wife, Katherine and I, are involved in several organizations. We spend our spare time supporting local religious organizations and non-profits. We support local business and buy local first when possible. We also donate our time, energy, and money towards helping those in need and serving others.

Q: What’s your biggest goal for your company in the next year?

The biggest goal we have for 2021 is to successfully and efficiently serve 50% more clients than we did in 2020. Most of our business is referrals, and we strive to make challenging or even traumatic experiences a little bit better by providing excellent service and empathy.

Q: What best business practices have you learned from 2020 and what did you do to be creative or pivot to remain in business?

We learned the sensitivity of viral and pathogenic contamination and cleanup. We have provided biohazard remediation services for several years, and this became the focus early in 2020. We had to adapt to the new standard of conducting business in biohazard suits on a regular basis. We also learned the importance of replicating our organizational chart during the tornado. We had to maximize our resources and personnel to assist in helping the thousands of people affected by the tornado. We had to find out how to be the best with every person and penny to serve to most people possible.
