Last month, YP Nashville and the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce held the inaugural YP Summit at Belmont University. YP Summit is a half-day conference focused on bringing together aspiring leaders from various industries for a day filled with insightful sessions, engaging speakers, and invaluable networking opportunities.

The conference kicked off with a captivating keynote address from Brittany Cole on how to thrive in your career by developing a plan for yourself.

We had four great panels at the conference:

  • Own Your Career Growth: Raise Your Hand
    • Harry Allen, Studio Bank
    • Blake Patterson, Alliance Bernstein
    • Shannen Stewart, Heels and Handshakes
  • Be the CEO of Your Own Future
    • Lori LeBleu, Director of Career Development for Jack C. Massey College of Business
    • Clark Buckner, Co-Founder and Partner of Relationary Marketing, LLC
  • Developing Coachability: A crucial Skill for Advancing Your Career
    • John Thalheimer, Executive Coach and Facilitator
  • Balanced Living in a Fast-Paced World
    • Kirbee Miller, Owner and CEO of Kirbee+Co
    • Rosa Castano, Well-Being Facilitator & Speaker

We had some closing remarks from Brittany Cole where all attendees were able to order her book Thrive Through It at no cost, courtesy of YP Nashville and the Chamber. The conference ended with our grand prize raffle giveaway of a round trip Southwest Airlines ticket.

The inaugural YP Summit was an exceptional gathering of ambitious young professionals seeking inspiration, guidance, and connection. We are so grateful to our presenting sponsor, Belmont University with the Jack C. Massey College of Business and the office of Executive Education for hosting.
